For parents
Santa Live Map is a free, safe story-world for children: no accounts, no adverts, no tracking, first names only.
What it is
A live 3D map of Santa's village at the North Pole. Santa, the elves and the reindeer follow a daily timetable on North Pole time, so what your child sees depends on when they visit. The countdown to Christmas runs in your own time zone, and on Christmas Eve Santa's sleigh flies over your town at midnight.
What we collect
- Nothing that identifies your child. No names on the map except the first name a child chooses to type on a letter or a treat.
- Letters to Santa: first name, age, country and the letter itself. No email. Letters are deleted automatically 30 days after Christmas.
- On your device only: the weather your child picked today and whether sound is on. You can clear these by clearing site data in your browser.
- Visit counts: cookieless analytics that count page views without identifying anyone.
Treats and the grown-up check
Children can send Santa a treat, like carrots for the reindeer or cookies and milk, which appears in the village for 24 hours with their first name. Every paid treat asks a grown-up to answer a quick question first. Prices are $0.99 to $2.99, one-off, never a subscription. Right now the shop is a demo and nothing is charged.
Refunds
If a treat does not appear, or was bought by mistake, write to us within 14 days and we will refund it in full.
Contact
Email [contact email to be confirmed]. We reply within two working days, and faster in December.
Questions parents ask
Does my child need an account?
No. There are no accounts, no passwords and no email addresses anywhere on the site.
What do you collect?
Nothing that identifies your child. A letter to Santa asks for a first name, age and country only, and is deleted 30 days after Christmas. Settings such as the weather choice and the sound switch are kept in your own browser.
Are there adverts or trackers?
No adverts, no tracking cookies and no third-party trackers. We count visits with cookieless analytics that do not identify anyone.
How do treats work?
Treats are small one-off gifts from $0.99 to $2.99 that appear in the village for 24 hours with your child’s first name. A grown-up check appears before anything paid, and nothing is charged automatically. The shop is a demo until payments open.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. If something goes wrong with a treat, write to us within 14 days and we will refund it in full, no questions asked.
