You can track Santa live on our 3D map of his village at the North Pole. Santa's red house, the Toy Factory, the stable and the frozen lake are all there, and they change as the day goes on. It is our Santa tracker, and it works on a computer, a tablet or a phone.
Most of the year, Santa stays at home in his village, and the tracker shows what he is doing there. Look for the "Happening right now" lines under the map. They tell you if Santa is having breakfast, checking on the elves or practising his sleigh by the frozen lake.
On Christmas Eve, the tracker does something special. At midnight where you live, Santa's sleigh flies over your town for about twenty minutes. A glowing route shows the way from the North Pole, and a message tells you: "Santa is over YOUR town, go to sleep!" Ask a grown-up to keep the map open that night if you would like to see it.
Santa's day runs on a timetable. Breakfast is at six, rounds at eight, reindeer feeding at twelve, sleigh practice at one, letters at five, the fire pit at seven and bed at ten. All of these times are North Pole time, and the map shows the next one in your own time too.
The Earth on the map shows real day and night, so you can see where it is dark right now. Tap things in the village to see them react. Santa waves, a reindeer trots over and the factory doors open. Tracking is free and needs no account.
If you are new to the site, here is the simplest way to start. Open the live map and wait a moment for the village to appear. Use your finger or mouse to turn the globe, then tap the red house or the Toy Factory. Some things make a little sound when you tap them, and their name appears on the screen. The tracker is made for children aged two to eighteen and their grown-ups, so the words are simple and the buttons are easy to press.
