Ring the big bell in Santa’s toy factory
High in the tower of Santa’s toy factory hangs a big brass bell with a holly ribbon. The elves ring it to tell everyone that a batch of toys is finished, that the cocoa is ready, or just because it is nearly Christmas. Today it is your turn.
Grab the red and white striped rope and pull it down, then let go. The bell swings, the heavy clapper inside strikes the side, and a deep BONG rolls out across the snowy village. You can also tap anywhere, or press the space bar on a computer, to give the rope one good tug. Watch the sound spread out in golden rings, the snow shake off the roof, and the elves in the windows stop what they are doing and look up.
The bell is very loud, and the elves have a lot of toys to make, so it can be rung once an hour on each device. If it is resting, a countdown shows when it will be ready again. The time you last rang it is kept only on this device. After a ring, press Watch the elves look up to jump to the live map of Santa’s village and see every elf stop and gaze up at the tower.
