Rudolph’s Light Path

Rudolph’s Light Path

Drag up and down anywhere, or hold the up and down arrow keys, to steer the sleigh. Catch the golden stars to keep Rudolph’s nose glowing. Bumping a tree, rock or log dims the light. Reach the lit villages for a bonus.

How to play Rudolph’s Light Path

It is a wild, snowy night and the forest is so dark that Santa cannot see the way. Only one light shines: Rudolph’s red nose. It lights up a small circle of snow just in front of the sleigh, so you only see the trees, rocks, logs and snow drifts when you are close to them.

To steer, put your finger anywhere on the game and slide it up or down. The sleigh follows your finger, so you can keep your thumb out of the way. On a computer, hold the up and down arrow keys. Bumping into something gives the sleigh a shake and makes the light dimmer.

The glow fades a little all the time, so look for the golden stars twinkling in the dark. Each star you catch makes Rudolph’s nose brighter and the circle of light bigger. The stars usually mark the clearest way through the trees, so following them is a good plan. Catch several in a row and you will hear the bells climb higher.

Every 350 metres you pass a little village with warm, glowing windows and a string of fairy lights. Flying past it gives you 150 points and a big boost of light. Your score is the metres you travel, plus 20 for each star and 150 for each village. If the light goes out, the run is over, but you can try again straight away and share your best score with a friend.
